When it’s done well, there’s nothing like a fresh car wrap, but nothing looks so bad as a poorly executed wrap or a wrap that’s degraded quickly due to bad quality materials.
To avoid disaster with your car customization, you need to buy from the best brands, but if you’re new to the wrap game, how are you supposed to know which brand you can rely on? Well, because we’re going to tell you; that’s how!
Avery Wraps
Avery is one of the most reputable brands out there when it comes to car wraps. Choose a vinyl from this company and you are sure to be happy with your purchase. They are well known for their professional results.
There are loads and loads of options to choose from, so if you do get stuck picking your design it should only be because you are spoilt for choice.
Once you’ve picked your style, you’ll find that the vinyl is double layered with a colored and protective layer making it not only stylish but super durable too.
The wraps from Avery are also really easy to apply and install and because they conform so well to the curves of your car you can be sure you won’t end up with loads of bubbles appearing while you install it.
Look after these wraps well and they can last up to 12 years too!
The only cons of Avery wraps are that they can be a little more on the expensive side, however, given the amazing quality that is provided, you still won’t hear any complaints from me.
3M Wraps
After Avery, the next best choice will probably be 3M. This is another professional brand that achieves great results. Now if you’re after just a cheap and quick way to wrap your car, it may not be the best choice for you, but if quality is what you’re after, then look no further.
A lot of people commend 3M for their innovative adhesive products that don’t leave an excess of sticky residue. After all, if you’re going to wrap your car you want to know that you’ll be able to get all that sticky excess off afterward.
3M’s color selection is also never-ending so you certainly shouldn’t have any issues finding the style that you want.
And if all that wasn’t enough, 3M even has an online configurator where you can virtually wrap your car and test it out before committing to the task!
Cheetah
Cheetah wraps may not have been in the business quite as long as that of Avery or 3M but it still has 30 years’ worth of experience at its disposal.
As most of these wraps are created by someone who had already been in the business a while, it means that the wraps have been designed with insight into what is expected from the product.
And while you won’t be able to get ahold of this wrap through a distributor, rolls of the wrap are sold directly and much cheaper prices.
However, there isn’t quite as much choice colorwise. Although, there are still over 40 colors available, so it’s unlikely that there isn’t at least a style or two that will catch your eye.
KPMF
KPMF is another great choice. Their wraps have an airelease technology to ensure your installation is bubble-free and the soft cast vinyl means that it will conform to the car incredibly well.
KPMF products are distributed across the globe from South Wales and continue to be popular across both the United Kingdom and the United States of America. This popularity comes from continuously producing high-quality products that people enjoy
They have a virtual color selector online so you can see what the different wraps would look like on different vehicles which gives a nice try before you buy feel. They too have loads of different options and styles so you’ll have plenty to play around with.
These wraps are likely to last 1-3 years but can sometimes be liable to shrinkage.
Inozetek
This brand offers high-quality products and very affordable prices, and what more can you really ask for? They have loads of different designs to choose from – my favorite is ‘Celestial Unicorn’.
Not only can you do a color configuration on their website but you can also request samples of the wrap so that you can be certain that you like it before you put in all your time and effort.
I think this is great because what’s worse than spending all your day wrapping your car, spending all that money to do it, and then not liking the outcome?
The products are also really durable, especially considering the price. An Inozetek wrap can be expected to last around 5-7 years. Inozetek also claims that their vinyl is thicker and superior to other vinyl on the market.
Final Thoughts
So, now you know the best of the best in the business, you can start looking for the wrap that suits you best. And that should be really fun – especially with the online configurator that a few of the brands offer.
Installing a vinyl wrap is a great way to customize your vehicle and turn it into something truly unique. While there are many different brands available, we recommend going with the ones that offer quality products backed up by excellent customer service.
Personally, out of the brands mentioned today, I would always go with Avery or 3M. They may be a little pricier than some other wraps on the market but I do believe the quality of these brands is unmatched.
We hope this guide helps you make the best choice! Whichever brand, style, or design you do end up choosing, we hope it brings your car a new lease of life and you enjoy it for years to come!
